KIYAPO CONTINUES TO INTESIFY AS IT MOVES OVER THE WEST PHILIPPINE SEA.

➣ Location of Center (10:00 PM):

The center of Severe Tropical Storm KIYAPO was estimated based on all available data at 140 km West Northwest of Calayan, Cagayan (19.7°N, 120.2°E).

➣ Intensity:

Maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and central pressure of 975 hPa.

➣ Present Movement:

West northwestward at 30 km/h

➣ Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:

Strong to storm-force winds extend outwards up to 470 km from the center
