Para hindi tayo laging nagtatanong kung bakit "ang banas" o sobrang lagkit, himayin natin kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng weather disturbance na ito. 1. Ang Definition : Ano ang Easterlies? Simple lang ang konsepto nito. Ang Easterlies ay ang hangin mula sa Pasipiko. Imagine-nin niyo ang Pacific Ocean sa kanan ng Pilipinas. Dahil mainit ang dagat doon, ang hanging nanggagaling doon ay mainit at basang hangin. Bakit ito tinawag na "Ang Maalinsangang Hangin"?
